We had to wake up really early for the safari, around 3:00 a.m., but it was worth it. We saw so many animals and really up close. The tour guide had worked there for almost 20 years! He knew the animals really well. I got a lot of pictures, here they are:

Today is going to be the best day ever. I started it off with a great breakfast.

Today we are going on a safari at Dzanga-Sangha Reserve. I'm so excited. we get to get really up close to wild animals.

We just got at the hotel and I got to go exploring again. I got pictures of our rooms and other things around the hotel.

This morning we had breakfast at the hotel. This was mine it had sliced bananas, sliced mango, sliced pineapple, and some fruit drink in the fruit; it was soooo delicious. 

We are on the plane on our way to Sangha Lodge in Djomo, Central African Republic.

I just found out that we can go scuba diving. We are going to go later this day and I'm so excited, I just bought a water proof camera so I can take pictures of the wild life.

It was so beautiful! The animals were so close and I was able to get fish really close because we had fish food. I cant wait till tomorrow.

We just got off the plane and are on our way to the resort called Club Santana. I got this picture from the plane.

I just went exploring the resort and got these pictures of our room and other things around the resort. 

I went to this one restaurants called "Sale Sucre". The food was so good they had a lot of food we eat in the US. I had a plate with French fries and a kind of burger.

On the plane, got this panorama view of Mount Nyiragongo. this is one of the volcanoes in Gomao. When we saw the smoke my brother thought it was going erupt. I don't think the volcano has erupted since 2002. 

On our way to the airport we passed the local school children having lunch. The rest of the kids were playing already. These four were all siblings.

This is what the cathedral looked like. The mass was so beautiful, but sort of long. There was a peaceful grotto. And the inside was beautiful. These little kids wouldn't stop smiling and peeking back at us.

My hotel room was a luxury room with an awesome view of the town. The bed was very comfortable and they had the little mints under the pillows. The lady at the front desk was very nice and knew English very well, she suggested some ideas of "where to go to" around town. One idea was the Cathedral. I can tell this is going to be an awesome two months.
